Professor Shieh is the professor of Law Department at National Chung Cheng University of Taiwan, and the president of Taiwan Law Foundation. He has served as consultant of Straits Exchange Foundation, consultative member of Mainland Affairs Council, member of the Book of Rights in Rem of the Civil Code amendatory committee of Ministry of Justice, member of the Trust Code amendatory committee of Ministry of Justice, member of the Real Estate Title Registration Code amendatory committee of Ministry of Interior, and the Chairman of Law Department and the president of Teachers’ Association of National Chung Cheng University. Principal interests are Civil Law (Property), Land Law, Trust Law and Law and Economics. Publications include more than two hundred of journal papers and more than forty books titled Selected Topics of Property Law(I)-(VI); Civil law(property); Land Law; Trust Law; Law and Economics; Law and Policy of Rental Control; Real Estate of Securitization; Option; Theory and Practice of Construction Contracts, etc.
