中正大學法學院為提升法學院師生之國際競爭力,並促進國內外法學院之交流合作,將於暑假舉辦法學院暑期學校 (2017 CCU College of Law International Summer School Program),活動日期為 2017 8 7 (週一) 8 18 (週五)。誠摯邀請 貴校之學生參與暑期課程。

此次舉辦法學院暑期學校,旨在藉由為期兩週的多元跨域的課程學習、小組討論、法律服務、機構參訪、劇團活動等,使學生可與不同背景之學生交流之外,亦有機會體驗台灣的風土民情。

Ø   報名方式

1.    填寫報名表並寄至cculaw2017@gmail.com或繳交紙本至法學院辦公室。

2.    並於6/23~6/25至選課系統選課。

Ø  費用

1.    中正大學學生無須另外繳交學費

2.    因課程需要,會前往嘉義弘道基金會與台中高等法院,需負擔車費(詳細費用依情況)

3.    若需入住學校宿舍,需負擔NT $3000

 

Ø  重要事項

1.    共計三門課,各2學分,得計入自由選修學分(學生可視情況選擇一堂或多堂)

2.    凡參與任一課堂之學生,需同時擔任學伴,帶領國際學生一起參與課程並認識與適應環境。

3.    關於學伴的詳細資訊,會於選課名單確認後,召開行前會說明。

 

Ø  課程介紹

1.      Global Human Rights and Local Legal Clinics

 

This course seeks to cultivate students to work in an interdisciplinary environment to tackle global justice issues concerning human rights. Students from different backgrounds will have the opportunity to interview local human rights institutes to search general information and identify the problems under selected human rights issues, and to find workable solutions to the problems.

 

2.      Human Rights and Law

 

This course provides a comprehensive overview of international, regional and municipal systems for the protection of human rights. It will examine the difficulties and controversies in enforcing human rights and how particular human rights abuses are addressed in practice. In addition, it will also discuss specialist regimes such as those relating to women, children and indigenous peoples.

3.      Economic Growth and Environmental Protection under International Law

 

This course considers how global economic growth interacts and conflicts with environmental protection in the trend of globalization and explores the role of the modern international legal system in tackling this issue. The major areas discussed in this course will include the world trading system, international investment law and international financial law.

 

Students will have opportunities to watch the movies, one relates to economic growth and environmental protection, another relates to human rights. In addition, students will be taught by drama experts in some classes and will visit a prominent local NGO and a local court.
